One such act is blood donation, a simple yet powerful way to save lives.
Why Blood Donation Matters
According to The Indus Hospital, fewer than 1% of Pakistan’s population donates blood. This falls dramatically short of meeting the increasing demand, especially in emergency care, surgeries, and long-term treatments. With Pakistan’s growing population and seasonal shortages, the need for voluntary blood donors has never been greater.
Blood donation is not just an act of kindness, it’s a lifeline.
TPL’s Partnership with The Indus Hospital
As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, TPL recently partnered with The Indus Hospital to organize a three-day Blood Donation Drive across multiple office locations.
The drive saw a strong turnout, with employees who met health criteria stepping up to contribute. In total, 30 donors gave approximately 500ml each, resulting in 15 liters of blood, a significant contribution to local blood banks.
To recognize their efforts, donors received appreciation stickers from The Indus Hospital, symbolizing their vital role in supporting healthcare and promoting awareness around voluntary blood donation.
