Celebrating Inclusivity: TPL’s Visit to Deaf Reach School
In recognition of the International Day of Sign Languages, volunteers from TPL Corp recently had the honor of visiting Deaf Reach School in Karachi. This event was not merely a visit; it was a heartfelt initiative aimed at fostering inclusivity and raising awareness about the vital role of sign language in bridging communication barriers between the hearing and deaf communities.
During this enriching four-hour experience, 15 dedicated volunteers engaged in interactive sign language sessions with the enthusiastic students. These sessions provided an opportunity for our team to learn basic signs while participating in activities designed to underscore the importance of diverse forms of communication. The day was filled with creativity and camaraderie, featuring arts and crafts, sports, board games, and an inspiring motivational session.
